Administration Services

Summary Administration

A simplified probate process used in estates of small value or where a person has been deceased for over two years, and where there are no creditors of the estate.

Formal Administration

A more comprehensive probate process where a Personal Representative is appointed to gather assets, settle debts of the estate, and distribute assets according to the directions in a Will or pursuant to the laws of intestacy.

Domiciliary Proceedings

These are proceedings where a person died as a primary resident of Florida with most of their assets in Florida.

Ancillary Proceeding

These are proceedings where a person died as a primary resident of another State with property located in Florida.

Trust Administration

The management and distribution of an individual’s assets according to the specific terms and provisions that they expressed in a trust agreement.
